Following on from the success of the Pro GT-X series, these new Pro GTS rackets have been developed in conjunction with the PSA to offer professional specification, designed for players seeking control and power in abundance. The new frame geometry incorporates a sharper cross sectional profile in the hoop, allowing increased head speed and improved manoeuvrability. The racket shaft has a more curvaceous profile, allowing for greater power to be generated from the back of the court or when close to walls. This racket uses BioFibre technology. Stronger than steel and lighter than carbon, stem fibres from plants are woven into the shaft portion of the racket. Upon ball impact this natural fibrous structure actively filters shockwaves by 18% to provide a cleaner, more solid hit than convention composite constructions. AeroSkin CX reduces aerodynamic drag by using a textured skin to smooth turbulent air. Engineered in a wind tunnel, this technology reduces drag by over a third, providing greater racket head speed. Inspired by the wear resistant, self-lubricating properties of snakeskin, Dunlop has engineered a new polymer, featuring microscopic lubricant MoS2. This increases grommet durability by nearly half and reduces string friction by more than a quarter, all leading to enhanced power and spin.
